AFITA 2014 conference organizers seek contributions from growers/advisors and other industry representatives.  The forum will be run by growers and for growers. It is a opportunity for growers to have their ideas and experiences on ICT in Agriculture heard at an International forum.

The forum will run as a series of discussion panels and short presentations . The short presentations can be given by growers/advisers on how they use information and communication technologies (ICT) in their farming operations and management (Apps, precision ag tools, data management tools, social media like twitter etc). The presentations should outline the technology and how it has helped the business to become more profitable and sustainable. Any desirable features or missing technologies can also be mentioned and discussed. The aim is to stimulate a lively discussion and to generate ideas for future developments in ICT. There will be a short questioning time at the end of each presentation.  Presenters can provide a PowerPoint presentation as their contribution to the session. The grower forum conveners will also appoint forum chairs who will facilitate discussion on current issues related to use of ICT in Agriculture.
